Monto
Sole Product Designer · Systems & Design in Code
Sole product designer for a product that helps suppliers get paid through their customers' procurement portals, across the current product, its next generation and the internal operations backoffice.
Initiated and led Monto's shift toward design-in-code, evolving from interactive coded prototypes to a shared design system built with engineering. Introduced AI-assisted design workflows, review practices, and quality checks to make product decisions easier to test, refine, and maintain.
Shaped the next generation's product and UX architecture while the business rules were still being settled: what each state means, how invoices, purchase orders, portals and connections relate, and how the main flows run.
Redesigned how problems reach the people who have to solve them: a supplier sees whether an issue is theirs to fix and where, and operational tasks reach a clear outcome even when the expected result never arrives.
Traced inconsistencies in data, status, and terminology back to their underlying logic, improving how business rules are represented across interconnected product experiences.
